The Role
This practice is a friendly family practice located in outer suburbs of Brisbane approximately 40 minutes drive from the CBD. The practice has been running for 5 years and has built up a busy and consistent patient base.
It’s a GP owned, bulk billing practice currently with 3 GPs including the owner and a registrar, They have nursing assistance and GPs here do vaccinations, dressings etc when no nurse is on duty. They have a part time mental health nurse and visiting Diabetes Educator.
The practice is fully computerised, modern, 4 consulting rooms with a 2 bed treatment room and on-site pathology.
A full time GP will be seeing in the region of 35-45 patients per day. You will be seeing a lot of families, elderly patients, an interest in these areas would be beneficial.
Opening hours are
Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm
Saturday and Sunday 8am – 12pm – weekend roster to be negotiated as may not be required.
- 65% - 75% billings
- Minimum hourly guarantee $120ph 3 months.
- Accommodation for 3 months and use of a car 1 month
- 2 year minimum contract
- Expected billings $10,000 - $12,000 per week.
To be considered for this position you must have MRCGP / UK CCT, MICGP or FRACGP or equivalent.
The Location
Southern suburbs of Brisbane, approximately 30 miles from the CBD. The area is of mixed demographics but with lots of new housing developments the area is attracting young families moving out from Brisbane.
