We're recruiting for an experienced GP with an interest in skin cancer to join this busy practice on the south side of Brisbane.

The Role
This is an established GP owned medical centre located in the southern Brisbane area of Queensland. The practice has been open for a couple of years and has built up a busy patient base.
Currently there are three GPs working here, the owner and another 2 FT doctors with nursing support.
Alongside the expected GP services the practice have a specialist skin cancer clinic and melanoma detection - with state of the art technology, the owner holds a specialist qualification in skin cancer - it would be desirable if you also held a similar qualification such as the Diploma from Cardiff University but this is not essential. They also have an in house cosmetics clinic.
They are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic GP who is looking for a long term position.
Opening hours are Monday to Friday 7am to 8pm and Saturday and Sunday 8am to 5pm. Working hours within these are flexible but it's required that you will be able to contribute 1:4 to the weekend roster.
- 70% billings
- $150ph minimum guarantee for the first 3 months
- a full time GP once fully up and running can be taking home $1400 - $1750 per day
- Yearly income in the region of $350k to $420k per annum.
- Bonus of $5000 at end of year 1.
To be considered for this position you must have MRCGP / MICGP / FRACGP or equivalent.
The Location
Southern suburbs of Brisbane, approximately 30 miles from the CBD. The area is of mixed demographics but with lots of new housing developments the area is attracting young families moving out from Brisbane.

Brisbane also gives easy access to a number of attractions as well as the Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast. Brisbane has a humid subtropical climate with hot, humid summers and dry, mild winters – perfect for enjoying the Queensland outdoors lifestyle.
