General Surgical Nurses needed in Falkirk!

Job Description:

We are currently seeking General Surgical Nurses to support our client based in Falkirk. We are looking for nurses who have experience in delivering high standards of care in a safe and supportive environment and have a General Medical background.

Your Responsibilities:

• Promoting, assessing and providing excellent standards of care;
• Taking part in ward and multidisciplinary team meetings;
• Providing comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative care to patients;
• Performing diagnostics, procedures and treatments, and ensuring the correct equipment is available;
• Following procedures, protocols and regulations in the surgical unit;
• Observing, reporting, and recording information on patient care;
• Managing medical records and ensuring adherence to data protection legislation;
• Sharing best practices with colleagues;
• Establishing effective communication channels with patients, families, and colleagues.

Requirements:

• Valid NMC registration with no restrictions.
• Minimum two years of experience in the surgical field;
• Knowledge of clinical procedures, processes, protocol, and standards;
• Patient-oriented, with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail;
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills;
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment;
• Adherence to professional, ethical, and legal requirements;
