The Hospital
The Caboolture Hospital is a 265 bed facility providing obstetrics and gynaecology, emergency medicine, general surgery, general medicine, day surgery, pathology, gastroenterology, paediatrics, medical imaging, pharmacy and mental health services to the community. Allied health services available from the Hospital include physiotherapy, dietetics, social work, occupational therapy and speech pathology. Outreach services include Caboolture Child and Young People's Mental Health and Caboolture Adult mental health services
Caboolture Hospital is undergoing extensive investment – the redevelopment will see the addition of a five storey Clinical Services Building supporting 130 new beds.
The General Medicine service provides treatment for adult patients requiring urgent short term or complex care including:

24/7 consultant led emergency medical team

24/7 on-site medical registrar

cardiology and respiratory inpatient services

cardiology, respiratory, rheumatology, stroke and endocrinology outpatient clinics.
The Location
Caboolture is a thriving township situated on the northern edge of Greater Brisbane. Just 45 minutes from downtown Brisbane, it is also the gateway to the Sunshine Coast with easy access to both via road and rail networks.

Caboolture is well known for skydiving and gliding at the town's main airfield. Memories of a more recent bygone era will be rekindled with a visit to Caboolture's Historical Village with its collection of restored buildings.
Yet few attractions rival the splendour of Pumicestone Passage and the internationally recognised marine sanctuary off Bribie Island. It's home to dolphins, dugongs, turtles and more than 350 species of birdlife. An easy 20 minutes from Caboolture, Bribie Island is linked by bridge and is a popular tourist destination for its excellent fishing, surf beaches, National Parks and reserves.
