Head Medical are seeking post foundation doctors with an interest in Older People’s Health and Rehabilitation for positions based in New Plymouth. Positions are suited to SHO/Trust grade doctors possessing General Medicine experience with an interest in Older People’s Health and rehabilitation. There are numerous opportunities to broaden clinical skills and knowledge.

The Role
Taranaki District Health Board serves a population of 118,000 and this role is based in New Plymouth, the main city within the Taranaki Province.
The Older People's Health and Rehabilitation Service provides inpatient, outpatient and community-based assessment treatment and rehabilitation for predominantly older people with complex disability / age-related disorders.
You will enjoy working in a multicultural workforce and being based in a friendly coastal community. There are several training opportunities including MTD meetings as well as weekly journal clubs and CME.
