I am looking to speak with sonographers who would be interested to work in the Falkland Islands from the middle of July to the end of August. Please see below for more information.
Main responsibilities
- Participation in on call rota for CT, ultrasound and plain film
- Participate in QA programme
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness of imaging department
- Laying out of supplies and room preparation for special procedures
- Report to relevant persons all matters, special problems or requirements
- Maintain stock levels
- Specific Ultrasound Responsibilities
- To undertake ultrasound examinations of the required standard for the Antenatal clinic as necessary and provide a written report
To be considered for the role, you must have the following qualifications and experience:
- Post graduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound
- Registration with the HPC
- Red dot experience course
- 2 years’ post qualification experience in general radiography
- Computer Tomography experience
- Knowledge of professional issues relating to:
- Governance
- Confidentiality
- Professional limitation in the role
- Follow and enforce IRMER radiation regulations
