Position: Midwifery Director
Responsibilities: As the Midwifery Director, you will be entrusted with leading, managing, and overseeing the activities of our dedicated midwifery unit. Your role will encompass 24-hour accountability, ensuring the highest standards of clinical nursing performance. You'll be instrumental in setting priorities, developing policies, procedures, and guidelines to optimize patient care outcomes.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years' current clinical nurse midwife or midwifery experience post-licensure/registration in your country of origin, with at least 5 years in a comparable managerial capacity.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Midwifery, or equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Master's Degree in Nursing, Midwifery, or equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Formal midwifery training and qualifications, along with certification as a Nurse Midwife or Certified Midwife (CM).
