Our client who already has successful long standing GP clinics is now opening a new facility in the historic city of Coquitlam, in the very popular province of British Columbia. They are now looking for GP`s to join this exciting new practice.
The building for the new clinic is already secured, and the clinic will be opened in 7-8 months time, so recruitment can begin now to allow enough time for the full BC license and work permit process to be completed in advance leading up to your relocation.

- Situated about 26 km East of Vancouver, with a population of over 178,000 residents, the name Coquitlam comes from the hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ word kʷikʷəƛ̓əm (Kwikwetlem), meaning "Red Fish Up the River," honouring the traditional lands of the Coast Salish Peoples.

The clinics are seen as a “one-stop shop” with Family Medicine pre-booked appointments, Walk-ins, Practitioners and Pharmacy on-site. Great earning potential in a busy and under served area and excellent location to start a fresh chapter in a sought after and growing region of Canada, while benefiting from a lower cost of living than Vancouver.
- Fee Split – 75% to GP`s with potential for the Longitudinal Family Physician model (LFP) contracts. The LFP Payment Model is a blended payment system that rewards longitudinal family physicians for their time, patient interactions, and panel size and complexity. This payment model recognizes the complexity of longitudinal care, values the time spent with patients, addresses rising costs, acknowledges indirect care and administrative services, and supports physician agency and practice flexibility. LFP is available for new physicians building their panel, or physicians with an existing panel. Details of contracts and structure can be discussed with the owners during interviews.
- Clinic hours – Mon-Fri 9am-5pm
- Working hours - Minimum 32 hours per week, but you can work as many hours as desired to maximise earnings.
Requirements:
- Applications can only be considered from fully trained GP`s / Family Medicine physicians holding either:
- CCT and MRCGP from the UK, MICGP from Ireland, FRACGP from Australasia, or he American Board of Family Medicine from the U.S.
