Are you an experienced Emergency Medicine Registrar looking for a new challenge and to develop your expertise further within a different healthcare system? This could be the role for you!
Working within a small rural hospital you will bring your knowledge and experience to a close-knit team which is greatly supported by the nursing and administration teams. Be part of a community that strives to serve the wider region with emergency care at the highest level. You will be exposed to a variety of presentations, allowing you to gain invaluable experience and ways of working associated with different cultural needs.
Suitable candidates will be at least PGY3+ and will have previous experience within an Emergency Department. You will need to hold general registration or be eligible for provisional general registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand. There are different pathways for New Zealand and we can advise you if you’re unsure. Head Medical will also assist you with the medical registration and work visa applications if you are successfully appointed.

The location is 90 minutes north of Dunedin, close to a number of world-class ski fields and is within reach of numerous lakes for fishing, boating and sailing activities.
