Consultant Dermatologist

Wellington, New Zealand

The Opportunity:

We would like to hire a full-time Consultant Dermatologist to join our small, friendly private practice in Wellington, New Zealand. A medical Dermatologist with an interest or experience in phototherapy and patch testing would be ideal, as we treat approximately 100 patients a week with narrowband UVB, and we provide a courier patch test service and contact dermatitis advisory service to other dermatologists throughout the country. Our dermatology team is 3.2 FTE dermatologist / phototherapist / clinical assistants.

Requirements:

  • FRACP or equivalent specialist qualification from the UK, Ireland, Canada of the U.S. 
  • Vocational registration (or eligible for this) in the scope of Dermatology, with the New Zealand Medical Council

We provide:

  • Salary of between $250,000 - $300,000 NZD 
  • 6 weeks of paid annual leave.
  • Collegial support and chocolate biscuits.
