Come and join the existing establishment of 12 full time Consultants as a full time OR part time Consultant Radiologist with Breast interest.
The team provide Radiology services to the population of Herefordshire, plus a catchment population from mid Wales and referrals from parts of surrounding counties of Shropshire, Worcestershire and Gwent (total population 230,000). The Breast Service works very closely with The Hereford and Worcester breast screening programme based at Worcester and accepts Hereford breast screeners for cancer surgery post assessment.
You should have experience which includes film reporting, barium studies, ultrasound, CT and MRI. A special interest in breast imaging is required, with the option to negotiate a full-time Breast Radiology post if you have a breast screening accreditation or significant breast screening experience.
The on-call rota is currently 1:10 and participation in on call rota is optional should you opt for a whole time Breast Radiology post.
Some Requirements:
- Full GMC registration with licence
- Specialist registration
