Are you a senior doctor seeking a new challenge, coastal scenery nearby to a large city, and wishing to work for an employer that can support your development?

A great opportunity has arisen on the east coast of Yorkshire. On behalf of a long-standing established teaching hospital Head Medical are looking out for Candidates in Paediatrics.

As a substantive Consultant within Paediatrics, you'll work on a permanent contract within a clinically led service that incorporates a range of disciplines across 4 acute hospital sites. The trust is seeking a dynamic candidate that has general paediatric experience and is interested in helping to develop their existing services and be part of a forward-thinking, innovative Paediatric team.

The post is flexible, and happy to accommodate special interests, this is an exciting opportunity to develop new or existing specialist areas.

Essential Criteria

  • MRCPCH, current GMC registration with licence to practise
  • Current entry on GMC Specialist Register for Paediatrics or within 12 months of CCT date or within 12 months of expected CESR approval
  • APLS, NLS & Level 3 Safeguarding
  • Candidates must be willing and able to participate in the consultant non-resident on-call rota (hospital accommodation is available to support individuals who wish to remain in the vicinity of the hospital and the provision of accommodation will also provide greater flexibility in terms of where a candidate chooses to live)
  • Teaching & Research opportunities available

Desirable Criteria

  • Substantive NHS experience
