Come and join a team of 4 Consultants, together providing a comprehensive histopathology, cytopathology and morbid anatomy service for the county of Herefordshire, and parts of neighbouring mid-Wales.
The post is based in a purpose-built, fully UKAS-accredited laboratory with a highly flexible approach to both the scope of your skills and to home working - full time or part time!
You will support and participate fully in the diagnostic, screening, teaching and administrative responsibilities of the department. Whilst the existing consultants have a generalist commitment and have developed special interests, with the advent of digital pathology and new ways of working, the department will consider applicants specialising in one or more areas, exploiting opportunities for remote working and the option of working across site using digital technologies.
