Are you a Consultant Geriatrician interested in a £20,000 joining bonus, a new role and a great work/life balance?
You’ll be responsible for acute inpatient care for patients coming from a distinct locality and ED liaison and Frailty service sessions. Because of how large and dynamic the department is, you’ll also have the opportunity to negotiate job plans to fit your particular areas of interest and specialty.
With a new cute medical model to be implemented across the trust, there is also flexibility to work between Medicine for Older People and Acute Medicine if you want.
Some Responsibilities:
- Comply with GMC guidance, all clinical risk management processes and national and local infection control policies and procedures
- Audit your clinical outcomes, report clinical incidents and alert the trust to risk
- Participate in annual appraisal and work to foster good team relationships
- Communicate effectively with all other medical and service departments within the hospital, and with GPs and other hospitals, to ensure continuous care for each patient
Some Requirements:
- Full GMC Registration
- Specialist Registration or will obtain within 6 months of interview date
- Experience in Parkinson Disease and movement disorders
