The Role
You will provide comprehensive specialist services in Gastroenterology within the Medicine Department at Dubbo Health Service, part of the Western NSW Local Health District. This includes:
- Delivering high-quality inpatient, outpatient and emergency care
- Supervising and mentoring junior medical staff, including JMOs and registrars
- Participating in clinical governance, risk management, and audit activities
- Supporting education and training at all levels, including clinical meetings and Grand Rounds
- Engaging in outreach work to ensure access to high-quality care across the wider region

Eligibility:
You must be eligible for specialist registration with AHPRA and hold:
- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in OR
- Equivalent overseas specialist qualifications (e.g. CCT (UK), CSCST (Ireland), ABIM Board Certification (USA), RCPSC (Canada), or Vocational Registration in NZ)
