We are seeking a Clinical Psychologist to provide a comprehensive service to Adults affected by mental illness located in Manukau City, a half hour drive from Auckland.

For this role: you should have a minimum of twelve months experience working in an integrated service for adults affected by mental illness. This position involves provision of clinical and team input as part of a multidisciplinary team serving the health needs of the target population. Provision of clinical services is a core activity of this role, and there is also opportunity for innovative involvement and leadership in activities to support the development of improved services both within the team and the health service. You will be required to provide professional psychological consultation and opinions regarding service users and contribute to comprehensive clinical assessment. To assist with treatment planning you will be required to conduct neuropsychological, psychometric, and cognitive testing procedures as appropriate. You will also provide Interventions including individual therapy (CBT/DBT), therapeutic groups, family therapy, psycho-educational groups, behavioural management, and case consultation.
