We have an exciting opportunity for agency nurses who have a strong background in orthopaedics, to work alongside our reputable hospital clients based in and around Ayrshire and Arran.
Main Responsibilities:
- Demonstrating expert knowledge of nursing practice procedures and best practice.
- Manage the quality of nursing practice within their scope of responsibility.
- Provide an efficient and effective nursing service, using assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Ensure the safety of patients and the public, the preservation of life and the avoidance of harm, as well as maintaining professional boundaries.
- Ensure the timely collection of data information and supplement it with independent research where necessary.
- Provide advice and support to patients and families on healthcare matters.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Registered Nurse with current NMC registration and no restrictions.
- Eligible to work in the UK.
- 18 months clinical nursing experience including experience in orthopaedic wards.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Computer literate.
