Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust

Head Medical are delighted to be working alongside the Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust with their current recruitment and expansion plans. They are a multi-specialty health and social care teaching provider located in the East of England, 2.5 hours by train from London.

This Trust provide a broad range of community services (including therapies), community and inpatient mental health services, learning disability services, healthy lifestyle support and addictions services to people living in Hull, the East Riding of Yorkshire and North Yorkshire – this is a large geographical area with a population of approximately 700,000.

Specialist services such as forensic support and offender health support patients from the wider Yorkshire and Humber areas, and further afield. They employ approximately 2,500 staff and operate from approximately 120 sites.

This is an excellent time to join the trust and develop their service. A brand new CAMHS Inpatient Unit has just been completed which will provide 9 general adolescent beds and a 4 bedded psychiatry intensive care unit (PICU) for the young people in the region.

As a Teaching Trust they work very closely with the major academic partners – Hull York Medical School and Hull University.
