Skype broadcasts for International GPs


The General Medical Council and NHS England are working together on a series of video conferences to help GPs prepare for working in the UK. 

The broadcasts are open to all international GPs joining the NHS, applicable to candidates considering applying, are in the application process or already working the UK. 

GPs interested in joining the programme can dial into these broadcasts, ask questions and discuss any concerns about working in the UK. Real-life situations will be used to discuss the complexities of the NHS, the role of the GP and practical application of GMC guidance. 

The sessions will be presented by Kim Tolley (Training Development Manager for IGPR, GMC) and Dr Mehreen Tahir (Senior Clinical Adviser, NHS England).
