The FREE information seminar will be for Resident Doctors looking to learn more about living and working in New Zealand.

If you are curious about the process of relocating to New Zealand, whether you are simply after more information before deciding, or if you know that you are going to make the move, this is the event for you.

Eligibility Criteria
NEW ZEALAND
There are two registration pathways via the Medical Council of New Zealand:
Competent Authority - You completed both your medical degree and foundation training in the UK or Ireland (this pathway is used for junior doctors who have completed foundation training)
Comparable Healthcare -This pathway is suitable for middle-grade doctors who have:

a primary medical degree from a university medical school listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools,
-
have worked in a comparable health system(s) for a minimum of 30 hours per week for at least 33 of the last 48 months,
have proposed employment in New Zealand in the same or similar area of medicine, at a similar level of responsibility to the work you have done in the last 48 months, in the same or similar area of medicine, at a similar level of responsibility to the proposed offer of employment.
