2013 has been another fantastic year for Head Medical – not only did we celebrate our 5th Birthday in September, we also reached (and sped past) the significant milestone of placing our 300th permanent Doctor.
The job we do requires a thorough understanding of the markets we work in and although many of our team are from (or have lived and worked in) the countries we recruit to, it remains vital to make regular visits (well that’s our excuse anyway!), so this year has also seen us make several trips to the Gulf, as well as Singapore and Australia.
The company continues to expand rapidly in both geographical and physical terms, venturing into new territories such as the Caribbean, Africa, Singapore and Canada, and also employing a staggering 10 new members of staff. We continue to recruit for both existing and new clients in Australia, New Zealand and the Gulf region, as well as many UK employers and are delighted to have recently been appointed members of New South Wales Health's Panel of Overseas Recruitment Agencies (PORA).
So, the outlook for 2014 is bright with lots of exciting new opportunities to explore. All that remains is for us to say thank you so much for working with us and for your ongoing support. We wish you all the very best for the festive season and beyond!
Our Achievements in 2013
- 337 Doctors started work in the last 5 years.
- 75 Doctors ready to start in 2014, with many more to come.
- 500 Doctors - our target number of placements by this time next year
We've been re-appointed for another year as the only commercial agency and offshore partner for Rural Health Workforce Australia (RHWA).
We're one of only a handful of companies appointed to NSW Health Panel of Overseas Recruitment Agencies (PORA) - allowing us to recruit to over 200 government hospitals in the area.
We travelled the length and breadth of the UK, from the Highlands right down to London, meeting both potential new clients and candidates while spreading the Head Medical word across a range of industry conferences.
We are now able to work with all District Health Boards in New Zealand, our first Doctors have been placed in Singapore, and we have recently begun to advertise for exciting opportunities in Canada!
An amazing 100% of Doctors placed in 2013 say they would recommend us to other medical professionals!
