Massive congratulations are in order for our longest serving member of staff, Gemma Evans, who has recently reached her milestone 10-year anniversary!
Gemma joined Head Medical in 2009 and has worked hard over the years to obtain her Australian and New Zealand migration agent licenses, adding real value to our registration service by becoming our go-to in-house immigration advisor. Gemma is authorised to provide immigration advice in relation to skilled migrant, visitor, and work visa matters, and provides full assistance to our doctors with their immigration application across Australia and New Zealand.
“There are a lot of things that I love about my job. From start to finish I can work with doctors and their families for anywhere up to a year. During that time you are able to build strong working relationships with them and often end up feeling like one of the family! I always feel truly invested in my client’s goals for the future and relish the opportunity to make a real difference to their migration experience.
I can hardly believe that 10 years have passed since my first day with Head Medical, a much smaller team of 4 all sitting together and starting out essentially from scratch. My decision to join Head was in a big part down to how lovely the team were and it was an exciting time, full of high hopes and enthusiasm for the task ahead. The years have genuinely flown past and it’s been so rewarding to watch the registration team and the wider company go from strength to strength and become what they are today, although admittedly it’s slightly depressing that I’m old enough to be Head Medical’s longest serving member of staff! I’m hugely grateful for the opportunities and support that Head Medical have afforded me over the years. My role has changed significantly since those early days and the work goes on being interesting, varied and challenging and I still love the team that I have around me. I’m proud to have been able to make an impact on the value that we offer our clients and I look forward to supporting the registration team and the wider company in the years to come."
