I’m Eilidh, I recently joined Head Medical after previously working within Pharmaceutical recruitment. Before entering the world of work, I studied Photography and Film at University which I still do from time to time but my main interest is drawing and painting. Although currently most of my time outside of work is spent with my dog Evie and wedding planning with my fiancé Steven!
My role at Head Medical is a Registration Consultant. Once a doctor has chosen where they would like to work and has received a job offer, the next stage is getting ready to relocate. We understand how big a decision this can be for doctors and the registration team are here to help candidates with the paperwork for their medical registration/license and visa as they prepare to move overseas.
Typically, my day is spent talking with candidates to advise them on how it all works, checking in to see how they are getting on and assisting anyway that I can to ensure that the process runs as smoothly as possible. I spend time making sure that every application is completed accurately and ensuring that all required documents are in place. I also communicate with the clients and registering authorities to ensure that all the necessary steps are completed for the candidates as swiftly as possible.
Working in the registration team gives me a great opportunity to get to know the candidates as they work their way through what can be quite a lengthy process, so it’s really nice to be able to support them along the way.
