*****RACGP Specialist Recognition Program – Update*****
Today the RACGP have confirmed with Head Medical the list of countries whose qualifications they recognise on the new Specialist Recognition Program.
The overall list has been significantly reduced from those accepted on the Specialist Pathway Program which closed to applicants on September 3rd 2018. Going forward only applicants with the following qualifications can apply for a Comparability Assessment –
- Membership of the UK's Royal College of General Practitioners
- Membership of the Irish College of General Practitioners
- Fellowship of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners
- Certification in The College of Family Physicians of Canada
The full guide to completing a comparability assessment and eligibility for the SRP Program will be available online by the end of the week and we will keep you updated on the changes as soon as we know them.
