On Saturday 13 June we held our Making the Move event in London. We had a busy day with three sessions for Consultants and General Practitioners (GPs) in which we provided information about living and working overseas, covering all of our locations.
Jim Godsal introduced the event and got everything underway.
Nicky Gregory spoke about the opportunities that are available for GPs across our locations.
Julie Barr talked through our locations for Consultants looking to make the move.
Claire Garrahan provided an overview of the immigration and registrations processes for Doctors moving overseas, and the support that we provide throughout that process.
Our partners The Commonwealth Bank of Australia gave financial advice and information on the current financial market in Australia and New Zealand.
And Halo Financial spoke about transferring money internationally and how it is possible to manage things like your pension and property while overseas.
After the talks there was time for plenty of questions and discussions with the panel and one-to-one conversations with the speakers for anyone wanting to talk over their own particular circumstances and requirements.
We were delighted to receive some great feedback from our attendees, who enjoyed the event, found it useful and informative, and would be likely to recommend it to their colleagues.
