Head Medical are delighted to be hosting this free event, offering Doctors wishing to explore opportunities to practice abroad the chance to meet with experts in the field and discuss the practicalities of living and working overseas.
Presentations and interactive information sessions from our both own team and our event partners, will give you a better idea of the opportunities there are available for both GPs and Consultants, in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, the Gulf, Kazakhstan, Canada, the Caribbean and beyond.
We’ll cover the key differences in the healthcare systems and working conditions, how you can develop your career, the cultural idiosyncrasies, what lifestyle to expect and education systems, as well as remuneration, cost of living, relocation challenges, banking, housing, tax and pensions, licensing and registration.
Our two key partners for the event are the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, who have supported numerous people emigrating to Australia and New Zealand with advice that goes much further than setting up bank accounts, and 
Montfort International, tax and pension specialists, who’ll be able to advise on what a move abroad would mean to your NHS pension, how to optimise this, and the tax implications of moving abroad.
After the presentations and a Q&A session with the panel, you’ll have a further chance to chat to us, over a tea or coffee, about your individual plans and what opportunities there might be for you.
