Paramedic Positions Available

Head Medical would like to invite applications from HCPC registered Paramedics or those qualified and pending HCPC registration for positions across the North East of England.

With beautiful beaches, lakes and mountains just a short drive from most towns and cities, a move to the North East is a step towards a fantastic work life balance, more freedom to unwind and more time for family life, with the compact nature of the region ensuring that choosing a home in the country does not mean missing out on city culture and that an urban home is only a few minutes from open countryside.

This is an exciting time to join our client, with the appointment of a new Chief Executive and the introduction of a new leadership model throughout the Emergency Care tier. Already the best performing Trust in the country they are currently undergoing a number of key transformational projects and are fully committed to the professional development and post-registration education of paramedics in relevant areas such as clinical decision making, minor injuries management, research and similar.

Everyone in the Ambulance Service plays an important role in making sure patients get the right treatment as quickly as possible, making for a fast-paced work environment where the job satisfaction can be immense. In addition there are also some fantastic rewards available.

Interested candidates should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be able to demonstrate effective social skills gained from experience with dealing with the public. Blue light driver training is highly desirable.

Candidates must be fully qualified and HCPC registered, or recently qualified and pending HCPC registration, and able to demonstrate evidence of continuing personal and professional development through their application and at assessment. Please note that failure to gain HCPC registration will prevent applicants from operating in this role.
