Australia consistently ranks as one of the world’s best places to live by all indices of income, human development, healthcare and civil rights. It's the world's 13th-largest economy and has the world's sixth-highest per capita income. It's the sixth-largest country in the world by land mass, but it has a comparatively small population (circa 23 million), which is concentrated in and around metropolitan cities and coastal areas.
Quality of Life – The United Nations ranked Australia as second in the world for its quality of life, coming just behind Norway and ahead of Switzerland. That, in itself, is a fantastic reason to consider moving to Australia.
Employment – Moving to Australia can open many doors. The economy is strong and the rate of unemployment is low. Many people move to Australia intending to stay for short time but then fall in love with the country and permanently emigrate.
Climate – For those moving from a colder climate, the weather is idyllic. You get mild winters and warm to hot summers.
Healthcare System – Almost 70% of health expenditure in Australia is funded by the government: the Australian Federal Government sets national health policies and subsidies health services which are provided by the state and Territory Government.
Economy – Australia is a rich country with a free market economy which has been growing steadily over the decades. Earnings in Australia are good and most GPs who make the move from the UK will considerably increase their earnings.
