We are seeking a Consultant Urologist with laparoscopic expertise for a permanent post in Wellington. Ranked 4th best place to visit in the world by Lonely Planet in 2011, Wellington (population 350,000) is the political and cultural centre of New Zealand, offering the luxury of living in a small city with big city advantages, with a magnificent harbour framed by hills.
The Urology department provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services across the region – you will be based in Wellington and provide services across a further two sites. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and participate in the supervision and teaching of Junior Doctors.
The relatively young and affluent population is reflected in the excellent range of schools, huge range of cultural events and cafes. Beyond the city and its beautiful harbour you have a wild and rugged coastline, mountains, ski fields, wineries and historical towns all within easy reach making this a perfect lifestyle destination.
