We have an exciting opportunity available for General Practitioners to work in a brand new state-of-the-art practice in the Southern suburbs of Perth close to the beach.
It is going to be a bulk billing clinic so you can be sure of getting up and running quite quickly. The current population in the area is over 100,000.
The Role
The practice will be open Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm and Saturday mornings only, once the practice is established.
Patient base will be mixed with some elderly patients and chronic disease.
- You will be offered 65-70% of billings, depending on experience, with a minimum guarantee for the first 3 months
- Minimum contract is 2 years
- Working hours are full time, but might consider part time too
- The Saturday mornings will be on a roster with the other GPs
In order to apply for this role you will need to have:
MRCGP by examination and either CCT/PMETB/JCPTGP (Prescribed Cert), MICGP or equivalent. This is a VR GP role. The Location
Perth is located along the waters of the Swan River and the west of the city runs along the Indian Ocean. It is the state capital of Western Australia and home to around 1.6 million people, making it a highly multi-cultural city and a top choice for UK expats with a fantastic social scene boasting plenty of alfresco style cafes and restaurants.
Perth is great for families with beautiful beaches to the north and south of the city and the clean, clear coastline attracts many visitors who enjoy snorkelling, sailing, surfing or swimming with the wild dolphins that famously live in the nearby bay areas.
The weather is excellent with mild winters and hot, dry summers to enjoy whether you choose to spend time in the city, on the coast or in the country.
