Whilst this post available does not form part of the formal training programme, the hospital endeavour to offer post holders the same training and educational opportunities as colleagues in training, including paid study leave. You will be provided with clinical supervision, to enable your personal and portfolio development.
This job will typically involve work on the CCU (coronary care unit), which is the core Cardiology ward, attending Consultant ward rounds and CCU cover, as well as cross covering absence for colleagues within the Cardiology Department. There will also be the opportunity to attend outpatient clinics supervised by a Consultant. Training opportunities will be provided to the successful candidate in coronary angiography, pacing and various imaging modalities.
