Seeking a General Physician with Specialist qualifications for the Medical Services at the Mount Isa Hospital. Experience in Emergency, Palliative or Geriatric care, and/or an interest in Public Health as it pertains to Indigenous and Rural and Remote Health is highly desirable.
- Lucrative remuneration package from AUD$500 - 600,000 dependent on experience plus other applicable allowances and benefits relevant to this position.

The North West Hospital and Health Service covers an area of over 300,000 square kilometres and services the rural and remote communities within North Western Queensland and the Gulf of Carpentaria.
Hospital services include: Medical, Surgical, Intensive Care, Paediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, 24 Hour Emergency Service, Allied Health and Palliative Care.
Applicants should be registered (or eligible for registration) as a specialist with the Medical Board of Australia and be a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) or equivalent as an overseas trained specialist who has completed their training in either the UK, Ireland, Canada, USA or New Zealand.
