A new opportunity has come up for a Speciality Doctor in Emergency Medicine to work in beautiful North Yorkshire.
The Emergency Department at the hospital has seen a great deal of investment and support in the last few years and will be benefitting from a £40 million share of funding, following a successful bid by the Trust for capital investment as part of the Humber, Coast and Vale Health and Care Partnership. The funding will enable the creation of a Combined Emergency Assessment Unit within the next 5 years.
The successful candidate will join a forward thinking and motivated team within the Emergency Department which sees approximately 150 attendances per day. The hospital supports candidates who wish to complete their CESR and provides an excellent study leave package to support on-going professional development.

The salary for this job will follow NHS pay scales and will be from £45,124 up to £77,519 dependent on experience. This post is also subject to a police check
To be considered for this role you must:
- Hold 4 years’ postgraduate experience including 2 years’ experience in the specialty.
- Have six months minimum UK experience in Emergency Medicine.
- Registered with the General Medical Council (GMC).
- Ideally be a Member of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine (MRCEM) but this is not essential.
- Hold a current ALS certificate.
