A great opportunity has arisen on the east coast of Yorkshire. On behalf of a long-standing established teaching hospital Head Medical are looking out for Candidates within Paedaitircs to work at Middle Grade / Registrar level.
As a Specialty Doctor in Paediatrics, you'll work on a permanent contract within a clinically led service that incorporates a range of disciplines across 4 acute hospital sites and covers numerous community, specialist and primary care facilities across a wide geography.
With access to the North York Moors National Park and its picturesque seaside towns and the historic city of York you will enjoy a full and active life outside of work. Good house prices and excellent rated schools, it is a truly wonderful place to live.
When commencing the post you'll will work on the middle grade tier, with a bespoke rota, offering flexibility and work-life balance. Embrace on-call duties with consultant support, covering Paediatric ward, Outpatient clinic, Special Care Neonatal Unit, and Children's Assessment Unit.
Hospital includes a 14-bedded Paediatric ward, a Children's Assessment Unit, a Paediatric outpatient department, an eight-bedded level one neonatal unit, and a three-bedded Paediatric Emergency Department with a dedicated team of Paediatric Nurses

Essential Criteria
- Current GMC full registration & licence to practise
- Completion of at least four years’ full-time postgraduate training (or its equivalent gained on a part-time or flexible basis) at least two of which must be in a speciality training programme (or equivalent level) in Paediatric Medicine, to include Neonates, or as a fixed term speciality trainee (or equivalent level) in Paediatric Medicine
- Neonatal Life Support (NLS)
- Advanced Paediatric Life Support (APLS)
- Part 1 MRCPCH or equivalent
Desirable Criteria
- UK experience in Paediatric Medicine
- Full MRCPCH
