Senior House Officer positions available to start in May 2020 and August 2020. We are currently seeking candidates who have an interest in Paediatrics and are looking to develop their skills and experience further. Suitable candidates will have completed at least one rotation in this area.
These roles are based in a beautiful location in North Island of New Zealand which is popular with both local and international visitors due to it's unique culture and abundance of outdoor adventure activities on offer. The area boasts many beautiful lakes and is an amazing spot for swimming, water sports and picnics - ideal for relaxing with the family.
You will be supported by Registrars and Senior Medical Officers who will guide and support you throughout your placement. This is a great opportunity to spend time working and living in a unique environment where you can rapidly progress your skills and knowledge within a short timeframe.
Requirement for this role
To be considered for these roles, you will have at least two years working experience within a medical role and be keen take advantage of the opportunity to develop your experience within a truly unique learning environment. You will need to hold general registration or be eligible for provisional general registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand. There are different pathways for New Zealand and we can advise you if you’re unsure. Head Medical will also assist you with the medical registration and work visa applications if you are successfully appointed.
