We have a Senior House Officer role (Emergency Department) available from September in a beautiful part of the North Island in New Zealand. This role will suit a PGY3+ candidate who is keen to develop their emergency medicine experience within a different environment. Alternatively, if you would like a broader range of experience, this client will also consider someone who would like to work as a Relief Senior House Officer, meaning you will work across different departments based on the requirements of the hospital.
Suitable candidates must be able to start the recruitment process immediately to allow for adequate processing times to get medical registration and visas.
Requirements for this role
To be considered for these roles, you will have at least two years working experience within a medical role and be keen take advantage of the opportunity to develop your experience within a truly unique learning environment. You will need to hold general registration or be eligible for provisional general registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand. There are different pathways for New Zealand and we can advise you if you’re unsure. Head Medical will also assist you with the medical registration and work visa applications if you are successfully appointed.
