We have a unique opportunity for highly motivated, skilled and enthusiastic Senior Consultants in Paediatric Emergency Medicine.
Our client, a newly built, ultra-modern clinical and research facility in Qatar, is looking for Paediatric Emergency Medicine Physicians to join its Paediatric service in 2017 or 2018.
This inpatient facility will open in the first quarter of 2018. It's mission is to provide world class maternity care for between 6,000 and 10,000 deliveries per year, as well as full service paediatric sub-specialty care for the children of Qatar.
Job Summary
The Senior Consultant Paediatric Emergency Medicine is responsible for the delivery of high quality evidence-based care; effective and efficient diagnosing, managing and treating all patients placed under the role holder’s care. The Senior Attending Physician Emergency Medicine makes recommendations, orders appropriate therapeutics and diagnostics as per the patient’s diagnosed condition. The Senior Attending Physician Emergency Medicine is also responsible for providing guidance to less experienced colleagues.
Qualifications and Experience required

MD Degree or equivalent;

Completion of a residency program with specialty experience or training in Emergency Medicine or Paediatrics from an accredited Western Board;

Board Certification in Paediatrics or Emergency Medicine;

Completion of a Fellowship in Paediatric Emergency Medicine would be beneficial;

8 years' of post certification / residency in clinical care or education in the relevant field;

3 years' in an academic leadership role;

Research, Education or Administration experience;

Valid professional license in the country of origin or country of practice in the specialty area;
