Registrar in Paediatrics, Scotland

An excellent opportunity is available for a Registrar level doctor in Paediatrics (ST3+) to work at a large district hospital in Scotland. You will undertake duties on the middle grade tier of the acute rota, duties will include acute assessment and care of children and neonates within the hospital. Additionally there will be commitments to general paediatric outpatient work or community paediatric work based on experience.

The contract opportunity will be on a fixed term basis until July 2018, with an NHS salary and benefits package. You will work in a friendly and developed Paediatrics Department, which has a fairly new childrens unit (opened mid 2016.

Located in Scotland, you will have access to all of the fantastic outdoor pursuits such as skiing, mountain-biking and hill walking. Additionally there is a strong theatre scene and plenty of festivals year round. With a local airport in close proximity to the hospital there is easy reach from UK airports, there is also a well serviced trainline and road network.

Please note you must have experience at ST3 level or higher, the equivalent level from outside the UK will also be considered. GMC registration and a license to practise is essential to take up this post. Doctors who require a working visa can be accommodated so please do get in touch to discuss your suitability.
