Head Medical are currently recruiting for Psychiatry Registrars to work in a popular city on North Island, New Zealand to start late 2018 and early 2019.
There are a number of positions available within different areas of mental health, giving you the option to specialise in your area of interest. These areas include, but are not limited to:
- Emergency Psychiatry Services
- Consultation Liaisons
- Early intervention services
- Child and Adolescent and Family services
- Alcohol and other drug services
- General Adult Services
- Mental Health for Older People
You will also have the opportunity to work with various sub-specialty services as well as participating in teaching and research options.
The city is centrally located with a number of outdoor activities within close reach, offering the perfect work-life balance.
These roles are suitable for PGY3+ doctors and contract can be for 6 or 12 months (with the potential to extend).
To be considered for these roles you must hold general registration or be eligible for provisional general registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
