Head Medical are currently recruiting for Senior House Officers and Registrars to join an expanding Emergency Department which currently sees approximately 30,000 presentations per year. The hospital is based on Queensland's Central Coast, an ideal location to experience Australia at it's finest. Situated in the centre of the Southern Great Barrier Reef, you will be able to enjoy your free time diving, swimming, snorkelling, surfing or simply relaxing on the glorious white, sandy beaches. Spend your weekends exploring nearby tropical islands spotting sea turtles, humpback whales and dolphins and enjoy a healthy work-life balance like no other.
Working closely with Staff Specialists and Senior Medical Staff, you will gain exposure to a variety of different types of presentations, giving you invaluable training and development within a unique healthcare environment.
Role details:
- Two positions available;
- 12 month contracts, with the potential to extend at a later date;
- Hours of work - 80 per fortnight.
Candidate requirements:
- MBBS or equivalent to be eligible for registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Medical Board of Australia, Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency;
- Minimum PGY3 or above;
- Previous experience working within an Emergency Department.
