Principal House Officer roles currently available in the western suburbs of Sydney, Australia. This is a rare opportunity for PGY3+ Doctors to gain a substantial amount of exposure within in teaching hospital based in a slightly rural setting, whilst also being a stone’s throw away from Sydney’s bustling metropolitan area, giving you the best of both worlds.
The roles are 12 or 24 month rotational contracts initially based within the Emergency Department with exposure to various departments thereafter - ideal for doctors interested in experiencing all that Australia has to offer, before returning home to complete their training.
As part of a small team, you will work extremely closely with a Consultant on a one-on-one basis, allowing you to quickly develop your knowledge and expertise. You will have unrivalled opportunities to experience any of the varied presentations to the hospital - ensuring you gain an enviable broad skill base.
Due to the range of opportunities available you do not need to go it alone – take along a friend/colleague/partner/spouse and experience the year down under together.
- PGY3 +
- MBBS or equivalent to enable current registration or eligibility for registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) is mandatory
- Completion of FY2
