Paediatrician - Part-time 0.9 FTE

General Paediatrician

Permanent Position 0.9 FTE

We would love to hear from Paediatricians with broad skills in General Paediatrics and who are committed to optimising health outcomes and providing whānau-centred care. The position will be based primarily at our main hospital, and will require confidence and experience in level 2 neonatal care. 

Contribution to emergency and inpatient paediatrics at our secondary hospital could be included in the role.

We deliver outpatient clinics across hospital and community sites, including visiting clinics to the Rodney region. Involvement in Gateway clinics, community paediatrics, and regional initiatives can be discussed with the successful applicant.

Our services are supportive, innovative, committed to teaching, and provide exposure to a diverse range of paediatric clinical experience. Opportunities to explore and contribute to areas of special interest are supported. We have a popular registrar rotation within the Auckland regional training scheme.

The role will include an on-call commitment with weekends and evenings at pro-rata 1:7 frequency for full time staff.
