What’s the role?
The hospital are keen to appoint a suitably experienced and enthusiastic person to the position of Consultant – Maternal Fetal Medicine.
As part of a multidisciplinary team you will provide sub-specialist services in maternal-fetal medicine (CMFM) and/or obstetrics (FRANZCOG) (both medical and surgical) to patients. You will promote patient quality and safety and provide leadership, training, supervision and education, where relevant, for doctors in training and other health workers in collaboration with other Consultants and the Head of Department/Unit. You will work within the scope of clinical practice as defined by the Health Service Credentialing Committee.
What are we looking for?
Applicants should be registered (or eligible for registration) as a specialist with the Medical Board of Australia and be a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (FRANCOG) or equivalent as an overseas trained specialist who has completed their training in either the UK, Ireland, Canada, USA or New Zealand.
