  • Grow your skills and experience in New Zealand’s largest teaching hospital with a supportive and stimulating atmosphere and internationally recognised Cancer and Blood Service

We are currently looking for a Medical Oncologist who ideally has a strong background or interest in Breast cancer but we are also open to other areas of interest and background. The Northern Regional Cancer Service is engaged in collaboration with the University of Auckland within the Academic Health Alliance and you will ideally have experience in facilitating research programmes and contributing to excellence in research initiatives, and/or interest in an academic position.

You will be part of the Medical Oncology department within the Northern Regional Cancer and Blood Service; with very close links with radiation oncology, haematology and palliative care services on the same site. The unit runs a tumour stream model of care with 18 full-time equivalent medical oncologists, 7 advanced trainee registrars and 3 rotating medical registrars.

Now is a great opportunity for you to come and experience the kiwi lifestyle and hospitality. The hospital is the largest in New Zealand and is based in the heart of Auckland City, voted as one of the best cities to live in the world!

If you are interested in this position, please apply online and attach an up to date copy of your CV for consideration.
