Fancy 11 weeks on a sub-tropical island with spectacular landscapes in the South Atlantic?
We require a locum from 19th May to 4th August inclusive to apply your specialist obstetrics and gynaecology skills in this thriving island community.
St Helena is a self-governing British Territory Overseas and now poised for transformation following the opening of an airport. The 42 bed General Hospital in the capital, Jamestown, covers all areas of acute medical and surgical care.
In this locum post you will manage the island's obstetrics and gynaecology services with other Medical Officers and Midwives, providing primary care especially in areas such as family planning and genitourinary medicine. You will also undertake clinical audits and be a member of the general on-call rota.
To express your interest and find out more information please apply immediately.
Please note, applications can only be accepted from candidates who have current GMC registration with a licence to practice or who can reinstate their licence if necessary before the start of the assignment.
