Locum opportunity in Gibraltar for a Registrar in General Medicine
We currently have a unique opportunity for a Registrar in General Medicine to work within the Gibraltar Health Authority hospital on locum basis from 15th January to 1st March 2020.
The successful candidate will be working Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:00 together with resident on-call activity as Registrar in General Medicine; equivalent to a 1:7 basis. The hourly rate of pay is £55 per hour.
Gibraltar is located at the mouth of the Mediterranean with easy access to the South of Spain and Morocco, as a British Overseas Territory, English is the main language with Spanish widely spoken. The Gibraltar Health Service is organised and modelled on UK NHS and follows traditions of British medical practice.
Applicants should have a wide range of experience in General Medicine. Any postgraduate qualification would be advantageous. To be considered for this role you must have current registration with the GMC and valid police check and able to commit to the hours above. Full return travel costs from the UK will be reimbursed for and accommodation is provided.
