Ongoing Hospital based GP sessions available - Scottish Borders 

Head Medical have an ongoing requirement for locum GP out-of-hours cover based in the Scottish Borders General Hospital. We can provide regular shifts most months and are keen to keep continuity as much as possible. 

Working as part of the out-of-hours team based within Borders General Hospital, you will see patients referred via NHS 24 and via A&E. You will work as part of this busy team and may on occasion be asked to cover the Covid Hub. Home visits are very rare as usually covered by the nursing team, but in rare circumstances you may be required to attend one. 

If interested, we can offer rates of pay of £115 per hour, plus paid travel and accommodation may be provided with appropriate notice. 

To be considered for this great opportunity you must have GMC registration with an active licence to practise, as well as being on the Scottish Performers List.  Experience of working in a similar setting is essential and you must hold the right to work in the UK.
