3 month GP Locum
Remote Island of St Helena
Does the adventurer in you ever dream of life on a remote sub-tropical island, away from the hustle and bustle of daily living? Then this 3 month locum post on St Helena might just be for you.
Ideally to start by the end of August for a period of 3 months, you will be working with the other medical officers, you will run out-patient clinics covering a wide range of practice, including diabetes, hypertension, cardio-pulmonary disease, paediatrics, ENT, ophthalmology etc.
You will also be required to take care of in-patients as well as being primary on-call approximately every fourth night supporting the nursing staff in the triage and attending possible emergencies. You will be supported by specialist colleagues in anaesthetics, surgery, orthopedics and obstetrics/gynaecology as well as two other medical officers.
