I am delighted to be welcoming applications from Consultants and Locum Consultants in Haematology on behalf of my client based in beautiful North Yorkshire.
The Trust provides Haematology care to a population of approximately 800,000, including high intensity chemotherapy services. If successful, the main duty is to provide a comprehensive clinical service to patients within the Trust area, always complying with GMC requirements of Duties of a Doctor. Exact duties are open to negotiation depending on interest of the successful applicant and the Trust is keen to support those who have special interests.
To be considered for this position you must:
- Hold registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) or within 6 months of achieving this at time of interview.
- Have both clinical and laboratory haematology training.
- Must be willing & able to cover haematology, diagnostic haematology lab & transfusion.
- Have higher medical qualification in MRCPath or equivalent.
Applications are welcome from those looking for full or part time work. The job will require cross site working a minimum of once a week and you must be willing to participate in the 1:7 on-call rota. This job is subject to a police check. Salary will follow NHS pay scales and be from £82,096 up to £110,683 per year depending on experience.
