Locum Consultant Geriatrician - North Yorkshire
Head Medical are pleased to offer opportunities for enthusiastic and motivated Consultants and Locum Consultants in Geriatrics to work in beautiful North Yorkshire, a fantastic part of the country which is home to two national parks, a beautiful coastline, and the city of York; a place which is consistently voted one of the best to live in the UK.
The successful candidate will be part of a team of motivated Consultants and will support in the delivery of Elderly Care services including comprehensive frailty assessments and development of frailty services. All subspecialties considered but an interest in Ortho Geriatrics would be particularly welcome and participation on the General Medicine on call is essential.
The Trust is research active and is committed to embedding clinical research into every practice. As a Trust they recruit approximately 4000 patients a year into clinical trials and there is currently research active at the hospital in over 15 areas with 8 Research Nurses supporting activity.

The successful candidate will hold GMC or be within 6 months of achieving this. This job is subject to a police check. Salary will follow NHS pay scales and be from £82,096 up to £110,683 per year depending on experience.
